The code service is available for all smartphones with WeChat App installed.
Can the code be used in other cities?
Yes, as long as the Tencent bus code service is available. Please noticed that you may need to apply the local bus codes in different cities. For example, the Yuncheng bus code is only used in Yuncheng. If you went to Xi'an, you might need to switch the code to“Chang an tong Bus Code”. You can enter the Mini program and click “More City” at the top of the homepage to switch to other cities; then click “Available Lines” at the bottom to check if the service is available.
How to use the code:
When using for the first time, there are the following ways:
Dock 1 : Enter the “Tencent Bus Code” in the Search Box of WeChat Homepage.
Dock 2: WeChat [Discover] - [Mini program] and search "Tencent Bus Code".
Dock 3: Search "Tencent Bus Code" in Subscribed account - [Scanning code]
When you successfully open the Tencent bus code for the first time, you can also open the bus code in the WeChat [Me] - [Cards & Offers].
After the code is successfully scanned, the device will emit a prompt tone to indicate a successful scan, the device screen on the bus will also have corresponding message. After a successful scan of your code, you can take the bus/Metro without waiting for the“Payment Successful” page.
How is the security of the ride code?

The daily usage number limit is a way to keep your money safe and prevent others from using your own code to steal your money. Currently, the number of daily uses is limited to 20 times. After reaching 20 times, you code will not be capable to use on that day.
Can I use the code after my bank card is untied from my Wechat?
When you open the bus code service, your WeChat wallet needs to be bound to your bank card. If the bank card was untied after successful opening the service, you can still to use the bus code. Prior charging method will be amended to your Wechat wallet change. If the change is insufficient, you will not be able to continue using it.
How to change the method of payment?
Click [Me]>[Wallet]>[Payment Management]>[ Auto Charge ] at the bottom of WeChat to change the priority debit method. Note: If you turn off the automatic debit function, you will not be able to use the travel code.
How to fix the push notification of fees due when your bill is paid?
Usually this is due to network delay, exit the mini program and wait a moment.
Reenter the mini app in a few minutes and see if the status is updated. If it is still not updated, please take a screenshot of the transaction details containing the order information, click "Consult Customer Service" to submit the information, we will further deal with it.
Why is there a delay notice for fare deductions when there is no current use?
The bus code adopts the mode of “usage first, then fare deduct”. The specific deduction time is related to the network status of your device. If the device is delayed in network connection, it may lead to delayed deduction, the charge you see is your previous use t and the notification is indifferent. You can enter the “Tencent Bus Code” applet>[Personal Center]>[Car Travel Record] to query the corresponding travel record, transaction details and travel time.
