Daoism's famous temple Duiyun Cave (the revolutionary site of Hedong special committee) is located in Donggou of Shangniu Village, Shuitou Town, 25 kilometers away from the west of the county, covering an area of more than 100 mu ( a unit of area (=0.0667 hectares)). It is built in the early Yuan Dynasty, at the foot of Jiwang Mountain, hidden in the gully of loess. It is named "Duiyun Cave" because its buildings look like clouds superimposed from a distance, entering into the cliff of the cave and connecting the steps of the cave. After the continuous building and expansion in the Ming and Qing dynasties, the architecture wonder that the house was built on top of the house, the courtyard was built in the courtyard, the cave was hidden in the cave, the Tao way follows natural, and the building was built in layers. Known as "enlarged bonsai, concentrated wonderland", it is a famous landscape in the golden triangle area of the Yellow River in Shanxi, Shaanxi and Henan provinces.

In 1922, Jia Kangjie, a revolutionary martyr, founded the "Civilian Middle School" here, which served as a rostrum for disseminating his new ideas and culture. It has enrolled more than 1,200 students from nine northern provinces, most of whom have become the backbone of revolutionary activities. In June 1928, Wang Ming, secretary of Shanxi Provincial Party Committee, presided over the Hedong District Party Organization Conference in Duiyun Cave and formally established Hedong special committee. In April 1929, Wang Ming, secretary of the provincial party committee, held another Hedong special committee meeting in Duiyun Cave, and changed the special committee to special branch according to the need of the struggle situation. As the secret activity center of Hedong special committee, Duiyun Cave has had a history of ten years. Here, the party led the people in the south of Shanxi to carry out a vigorous revolutionary struggle. Up to now, there are still revolutionary relics such as "secret printing houses, tunnel, channel in wells and hidden caves". Jia Kangjie, Chai Zemin, Sun Yuting, Jia Hao, Jin Changgeng, Zhao Tingchen and other revolutionary predecessors have lived and fought here, and made indelible contributions to the cause of the revolution in south Shanxi and even the whole country. Here is regarded as the "cradle of the revolution in the south of Shanxi" by later generations. In 1985, Shanxi Provincial Government announced it as the provincial key cultural relic protection units. In 2004, it was determined as the patriotism education base of Shanxi Province. In October 2008, it was identified as the first batch of training base of provincial universities ideological and political theory course.
