Jiangzhou temple fair has its own characteristics. In order to promote folk culture, the development of the county economy, from 2012 to now every year on October 4-6, both the Mid-Autumn festival and National Day long holiday will have Jiangzhou City God Temple. Temple fair has three features: one is the number of visitors. During the temple fair, more than 50,000 person-times were visited every day, and more than 300,000 person-times were received during the two festivals. Second one, rich cultural content. Temple worship, opening ceremony, ashram and other activities; at the same time, there are a number of Jiangzhou wood painting, Jiangzhou brush pen, Jiangzhou Chengni inkstone and a number of new Jiangzhou cultural products and Jiangzhou famous food, night three floors, city god temple and scenic area lights colorful, attracted the vast number of tourists, these greatly enriched the cultural connotation of the temple; third, remarkable results have been achieved. The first temple fair not only carried forward the traditional folk culture, expanded the influence in south area of Shanxi, caused a strong response from the masses, fully reflected the County Party Committee, County Government’s "Double Ten Project" and benefit people effect.
