Kang Jie Middle School was founded in April 1945, originally under the name “The Fifth Branch of Taiyue Administrative Cadre School in the border areas of Jin Ji Lu Yu”. The school was renamed “Kang Jie Middle School “by Shanxi provincial people’s government on 1 May 1952 to commemorate the earliest communist, revolutionist, and educator Jia Kangjie in the south of Shanxi province.
The school is located in Yuncheng Konggang development area. It covers an area of 500 mu, with a construction area of 180 thousand square meters and total assets of 0.68 billion. Currently, there are 90 classes, with more than 5400 students enrolled. The school has a faculty of more than 500 people, including 6 senior teachers, 6 special-level teachers, and 100 head teachers.
During the development of 73 years, the school has always centered on teaching, having sent more than 60 thousand outstanding students to colleges and universities. Among them, more than 500 students were admitted to famous universities, Tsinghua University and Beijing University, and 6 students have achieved the highest academic scores in Shanxi province.
Kang Jie Middle School has been widely accepted and highly praised after teaching practice of more than 70 years.
