Yuncheng Yanhua Middle School is the only public school with 12-year educational system in Yuncheng. The school has a faculty of more than 350 people, including 4 senior teachers, 47 head teachers, 1 national backbone teacher, and 4 special-level teachers. There are 90 normal students at public expense. It is equipped with first-class facilities, including high standard laboratory, computer room, recording room, and first-class library of Shanxi primary and middle schools. In recent years, it has included national defense education in teaching plan, in possession of the only national defense education showroom of Yuncheng. Its quality of education has advanced over these years, with 80% admission rate in 2018. The school has been awarded the title of “Shanxi Advanced Unit of Educational System”, becoming a distinctive school in Hedong education.
